The Nopal cactus has been popular as a vegetable in Mexico for hundreds of years. It has a green bean, asparagus-like flavour and is one of the most versatile foods to grace the Mexican table.
Serving Suggestion
Nopales are naturally a little slippery -so be sure to rinse them thoroughly under running water. Once that’s done, they’re easy- just add to a salad or sauté with a little olive oil and season to make a terrific accompaniment of anything savoury!
Ingredients: Tender pickled cactus (55%), Water,
Vinegar, Seasalt.
