Spicy yet still subtle, it’s ideal as a sauce and a marinade. Guajillo chillies are a shiny orange red with a special sweet heat all of their own, one that’s initially rather bashful. When it comes through it evokes the essence of Mexico: vibrant markets and long, warm nights.
Serving Suggestion
Delicious straight from the jar as a marinade for meat, poultry or fish. Marinate for at least one hour (ideally overnight in the fridge) before cooking. You can also enhance the flavour of your favourite dip, soup or casserole with a spoonful or two.
